This project was based on two sections, the first, to build and install an intelligent remote access software system for data and for engineering drawings; the second was to build a parts system to log and intelligently engineering parts. The installed system was built to provide a unified way to break down the components that were required during manufacture.

Overview of system

Parts logging system – An index for all parts were created, which was linked to a scanning system for quick parts identification during the manufacturing process

Intelligent cloud based storage – All documents were stored in a automated backed up unit to confidentially store private information, with automated access controls to all users.

Management Dashboard – A online visible user interface that allows control of all parts of the manufacturing process and gives user specific information.

With ever increasing data that was being created during manufacture, the requirement for tech solutions was growing. The implementation of these systems allowed the growing user base at the engineering company to grow, whist staying organised and keep control on their parts management.
